Hello, my name is Matthew McDonnell. I am
a 23 year old senior college student at Illinois State University and beard
wearer. I started Bearded-Fitness.Blog in 2015 to help men and women to put
together what they will need to transition to a healthier life style and help
to ride themselves of that, while impressive, annoying beer gut.
Do you ever feel that your weight is
holding you back from something you want? A girl or guy, that new dress that is
two sizes to small, playing your favorite sports or simply feeling comfortable
at the pool? Trust me I have been there before. In 2010 I was a 250 pound flab
who could barely walk a mile let alone run it, but now through hard work and
dedication I am 185 pound bearded machine of muscle who sprints a two miles
almost daily.
I am no expert in the field of fitness and
nutrition but I can show you some helpful tips to shed the body fat you carry
and a simple diet plan to follow that will have you jazzed for each and every
day. I have learned these workouts and nutritional tips through nearly five
years of personal research, trial an error and simply talking with people in
the field.
Within my blog I will give you simple meal
plans that are extremely flexible, warm-up exercise’s and a proper workout plan
to get you started. I will also provide additional information as necessary.
